Carl Pei's Nothing unveils concept earbuds inspired by tobacco pipe

Carl Pei's Nothing has started revealing its products and the first is concept earbuds that are inspired by a grandmother's tobacco pipe.

OnePlus Co-founder, Carl Pei's start-up, Nothing on Tuesday uncovered the concept of its first product called 'Concept 1'. The semi-transparent 'Concept 1' apparently wireless earbuds take inspiration from a grandmother's tobacco pipe. The London-based startup said, "We peel off everything superficial, like unnecessary branding on the surface," in a statement.

'Nothing' is finally revealing something that it says it has been working on for the last few months. Curiously these are called the ‘Concept 1’. It seems to suggest the final version may look different from this release. In their current form, these earbuds have a minimalist transparent design without any ‘unnecessary branding’ on the surface. It seemingly highlights Nothing’s sales pitch— just barely-noticeable technology. With this it empowers everyone to be more human. Presumably, it's said that Stockholm-based Teenage Engineering is behind the design.

The Concept 1 TWS earbuds belong to the first wave of products that Nothing—possibly—has in store. They are set to launch sometime this summer. The product's first look has made an uproar in the tech market so far, let's see what happens when the product actually comes into the market. Though you have to give in to the unique inspiration of the product.
