8 Bollywood remake songs that became our all time favourites

While a lot of Bollywood remake songs might be catchy, these songs changed the trajectory of remakes and gave us nothing but bops!

For someone who breathes, eats and sleeps because of music, I enjoy any form of music that calms me. No matter if it's original or inspired by some other tune. Music tastes in general are very subjective in terms of musicality, sonics and lyrics. For some none of this matter unless it's a good song but for me who pretty much starts and ends their day with music, I ended up learning a lot about it. We've all been part of the infamous debate on the internet whether songs should be remade or not. While many tend to hate anything that comes out of the remake community, some songs turn out to be a better version of the original!

Be it the extra vocals and adlibs or reconstructing the entire rhythm and turning it into a completely different track while still keeping the intact and essence of the original track, Bollywood has some fair share amount of remakes that are actually good! Sure, there's going to be a ton of people on the internet that will say remakes like O Saki Saki should be banned, but we can't help it but groove to it.

Some remakes are a blessing and here's proof!

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga

By basing the remake on queer love, this version sounds just as good at the original because it makes me sound more compassionate!

O Saki Saki

This remake took over everyone's playlist for quite a while and you find it impossible to not groove to this one till date; it's catchy, sexy and just so good! Vishal's raspy voice blending in perfectly with Neha and Tulsi's soulful voice gives the song more wings to fly.

Dilbar

Say what you want but some remakes have the power to instantly make you dance even if you're stuck in traffic and can only groove with your fingers on the steering wheel!

Gazab Ka Hai Din

Who would have thought that putting English lyrics to the classic Gazab Ka Hai Din from Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak would not ruin the song but only enlighten it?

Dheere Dheere

Honey Singh's voice really suits these kinds of songs and probably that's why this song sounded more relevant than the original!

Dil Ke Paas

At this point, anything that comes out of Arijit Singh has to be good! Arijit's rendition of Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is just too perfect for a rainy day.

Maine Tujhko Dekha

What makes a 90s remake better? Adding more beats, enthusiasm and some slang to the song.

Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le

As iconic as Suresh Wadkar's version is, Alia's remake added a rather nice touch to this song which made it relatable for so many millennials.
