Aamir Khan and RS Prasanna are apparently in talks to make the Hindi adaptation of the Spanish hit film, Campeones.

Actor Aamir Khan is in discussions for his next film with filmmaker RS Prasanna, suggest several entertainment reports, while he is currently busy completing Laal Singh Chaddha. The filmmaker earlier has helmed Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. The actor and the director are reportedly discussing adapting the 2018 Spanish film, Campeones in the Hindi language.

The Spanish film ‘Campeones‘ is set against the backdrop of basketball and was the biggest national box office hit of its release year. The filmmakers and their teams are figuring the sport it will tackle in this adaptation.

According to a tabloid, the actor could possibly be seen essaying the role of a drunkard and arrogant coach in the sports drama. It is not a quintessential sports film but set against the backdrop of it. Aamir’s character is to be such that he goes from being a drunkard to becoming sober in the film. While the discussions are on, the actor will take a final call in summer 2021, when he completes the post-production of the film, Laal Singh Chaddha.

‘Campeones’ meaning Champions is a sports comedy-drama set against the backdrop of basketball. In this film, there is an arrogant coach who is forced to do community service and train a team with developmental disabilities. The film starred the talented actors, Javier Gutierrez, Jose de Luna, Gloria Ramos, Roberto Chinchilla, Athenea Mata, Luisa Gavasa, Mariano Llorente, Daniel Freire, and Juan Margallo, directed by Javier Fesser.
