Amazon Prime Video reveals the first look of new shows and seasons of much awaited shows, Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Amol Palekar and many other Bollywood actors being part of the shows.
At an exclusive event held for Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Amazon Prime Video India announced the release of 14 new Orginal Web shows of 2020 including a mix of nine brand new series and five new seasons of popular shows from the past 3 years like Mirzapur 2, Breathe 2 and The Family Man Season 2.
The first in line to be released this January is director Kabir Khan’s The Forgotten Army - Azaadi Ke Liye, starring Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari Wagh.
Though the season 2 failed to raise the bar of the show, Vivek Oberoi & Richa Chadha starer cricket-themed drama Inside Edge's season 3 will also be released this year.
For the Season 2 of Breathe, Abhishek Bachchan will be replacing R Madhavan, and Amit Sadh & Nithya Menon joins the cast playing pivotal roles in the series.
In Mirzapur 2's slate, Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Duggal, Ali Fazal are as intense in the season 1 and setting the expectations for the show right.
Sayani Gupta, Kirti Kulhari, Maanvi Gagroo and Bani J's Four More Shots Please season 2 takes the girls internationally, with parts of the show shot in Turkey.
The slate video also includes unscripted titles Sons of Soil - Jaipur Pink Panthers and comedy show Comicstaan Tamil.
Only Much Louder's Gormint that went into controversy, is finally getting released this year.
The shows have a brilliant cast line up with veteran actors Amol Parasher, Naseeruddin Shah and Dimple Kapadia, debuts on digital with shows Gormint, Bandish Bandits and Dilli respectively along with creative filmmakers like Kabir Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar, Nikkhil Advani, Raj & DK, Farhan Akhtar & Ritesh Sidhwani, Reema Kagti, Rangita and Ishita Nandy, Mayank Sharma, Amritpal Singh Bindra, Amit Kumar and Himanshu Mehra.
