Like the opening visuals for Coldplay's Disney+ Hotstar's livestream? Here's what we know about the artist duo 'Boomranng' aka Sonal Vasave and Makarand Narkar, the people behind it.

One of the recent concerts that generated a lot of buzz was Coldplay’s India tour. It became the talk of the town, largely due to ticket sales rather than the concert itself. While Indians experienced the magic of the band during their three-day concert in Mumbai, many were eager to witness their Music of the Spheres World Tour in Ahmedabad. The band performed their largest-ever stadium concert in India at the Narendra Modi stadium, and unlike the Mumbai concert, fans had the opportunity to stream it online. With exclusive BTS of the band's performance to allowing fans to witness the monumental concert whenever they please, millions were glued to Disney+ Hotstar. While the performance was as energetic and eclectic as one would expect, it was the opening of the stream that deserves to be talked about.

By capturing the essence of India's diversity and weaving the essence of Ahmedabad, illustrators and artist duo Boomranng aka Sonal Vasave and Makarand Narkar became the perfect buildup to the concert. Calling it "a collaboration written in the stars", these artists whipped their magic wand and created a visual mastery that brought out the vibrant drama of the concert itself.

While this Coldplay visual identity has been receiving a lot of praise from fans, this is not the only illustration they have worked on. Boomranng has been part of multiple projects that celebrate life, their personal journeys, and everything that inspires them. Playing with colors and patterns, the art is all about bringing traditional elements with a fusion of modernity that will attract people across generations.

They have worked with YouTube to celebrate some techniques, recipes, and the history of Indian village feasts that village cooking videos bring on the platform. They also had the chance to build their own toolkit of illustrations, patterns, and backgrounds for Apple as part of the South Asian Heritage Month 2023 celebration. Pepsi's new campaign "Rise Up Baby!" that celebrates youth, Koovs Fashion's 10-year celebration, and Nike By You are some of their previous works that were appreciated and loved by people online.

If anything, Boomranng feels like the ideal collaborator for Coldplay to bring out the essence of the tour across India. Both artists complement each other perfectly, creating an experience that millions who couldn't attend the live performance would appreciate.
