Border 2 continues to soar at the box office and even though the ensemble cast brought out a plethora of opinions from its audiences!
Marching ahead with momentum, Border 2 delivered a solid day 4 performance on Republic Day, scripting a new benchmark for patriotic cinema at the box office. The film recorded a massive ₹63.59 CR NBOC, marking the biggest Republic Day box office collection, earning a total of ₹193.48 CR NBOC within just four days. The film collected ₹32.10 CR NBOC on its first day, followed by a whopping 40 crores and 57 crores on Day 2 and Day 3 respectively. Along with the Republic Day collections, the movie has not surpassed the 100 crore club.
With this Republic Day surge, Border 2 has further cemented its position as a true box-office success, showcasing audience love driven by emotion, pride, and spectacle. The holiday boost amplified the film’s already stellar run, pushing its cumulative total to new heights and reinforcing its blockbuster status. Border 2 is presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series, in association with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films. Backed by a production team including Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, and directed by Anurag Singh.
Coming to the Janta's reactions, the film seems to have brought out mixed reviews from social media. Some felt like the film does not live up to its cult classic predecessor and fails due to its weak screenplay and poor VFX. And on the contrary there are some who felt the film was a good one time watch and gives you the adrenaline rush you want as an audience whilst watching a film like this!

Watched #Border2 last night and I’m honestly baffled.
How did we go from the 1997 classic to...this? The production quality is shockingly poor, half the movie looks like it was shot on a 2005 green screen.

Border 2 is a massive letdown, failing to capture even a trace of the emotion and patriotism that defined the original. 🫠⁰

With poor editing, an uninspired screenplay, and no real story to hold onto, it turns into a dull and disappointing watch. 👎#Border2#VarunDhawanpic.twitter.com/02foVLvWkm

A good Decent War film, downgraded by its Visuals & Dialogue writing
Could have been Better if Instead of Comedy They focused on tensed war build up in 1st half
Music was Hit & Miss at some Points#SunnyDeol fans Are for a Good One time Watch Treat pic.twitter.com/KxAEu5di9a
Border 2 delivers a solid patriotic punch with grand war sequences, emotional highs & Sunny Deol roaring in vintage form.

Not as timeless as the original, but a stirring big-screen spectacle that makes you salute the forces.
Worth the theatre experience! 🍿#Border2 3.5/5 ⭐ pic.twitter.com/GKtGRvzlGl
Border 2 review- Mind blowing film and a perfect sequel to border with great direction, screenplay and good acting performances by Sunny Paji,Diljit, VD and even by ahan, but still needs some improvement. Additionally, songs and action sequences are good.

Another must watch. pic.twitter.com/hlBkbfDhux
Not even 10% of the soul, impact, or intensity of the original survives here. Scenes feel forced, dialogues are forgettable, and the film never once manages to create an emotional or patriotic connection. #Border2 is a textbook example of how not to make a sequel.

It was housefull , saw many old age people too.
The first half of the movie is really nice when we got to see family drama , light humour and was well balanced.
The second half dragged and really dragged in last hour , VFX was not Upto the mark pic.twitter.com/P6P9JG7ME6
Even though it has the same template as all war movies, I liked it. Emotions, performances and music worked well. But the climax was too lengthy. Congrats team 👏 👏 🇮🇳

2.75/5#Border2
#Border2Review A war film that fundamentally misses its emotional core. Nostalgic songs from earlier part are lazily inserted in an attempt to evoke sentiment, while loud explosions are relied upon to manufacture impact in the action sequences. Neither approach compensates it.

GOOD ONE TIME WATCH , best for fans of the original. ⭐⭐⭐/5

A sincere war drama with strong action, sound design, and patriotic emotion. Performances are honest, but the story follows a familiar path and pacing dips in places. Effective moments, limited novelty.#Border2pic.twitter.com/K8sjZjaAwm
