In case you missed the Golden Globes which was streamed today morning, we’ve got you covered with an entire list of who won what!
The new year marks the beginning of a new awards season. The best of talents are gathered under one roof and celebrate the beauty of cinema. There’s new movies, new shows and new actors to honor for the contribution that they have made in the past year. This year we have Emilia Pérez and The Brutalist winning big in the film awards, from Best Picture to Best Actor/Actress, the two movies have proved that not only did they garner the audience’s love but will also be dominating this awards season. Shogun, on the other hand, was leading in the television awards leaving House of the Dragon behind which won a lot of awards last year. Similarly, Hacks beat The Bear this year in the musical or comedy section. The only award The Bear received this year was for Best Actor which was taken home by Jeremy Allen White.
Wicked, which completely took over pop culture at the end of 2024, won an award for Box Office Achievement but was snubbed in all the musical categories. India’s nomination at the Golden Globes, which was Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine as Light, also lost to Emilia Pérez in the non English Language film category. Regardless, we’re proud of the conversations the film brought to the table!
