Lakme Fashion Week 2025 is more grand, glitzy, and glamorous than ever. The first two days of the fashion extravaganza held at Mumbai Jio World Centre were marked by a dazzling array of couture collections and a plethora of celebrities commanding the ramp and attending the event at their stylish best. The event so far has been a memorable spectacle of fashion that blended classy with a fine touch of contemporary.

Ananya Panday walked for AKIOK
Ananya Panday turned showstopper for Anamika Khanna's signature label AK|OK for the opening show at Lakmé Fashion Week 2025. The actor sported a beautiful blue and silver ensemble, accessorizing it with silver bangles and blue ankle-length heel boots. Her look was rounded off by a neat bun.

Headlining the runway on day two were Nushrratt Bharuccha, Karisma Kapoor, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and former tennis legend Leander Paes.
Nushrratt Bharuccha walked for THE RUNWAY
Nushrratt Bharuccha turned showstopper for NIF Global 'THE RUNWAY'. The actress owned the ramp with a chic outfit that was bold yet elegant. The ensemble featured a structured grey corset paired with glamorous black wide-leg pants and a blazer.
Prosenjit Chatterjee and Leander Paes walked for The Boy's Club
Prosenjit Chatterjee and Leander Paes walked for The Boy’s Club by Anurag Gupta. Prosenjit looked dapper in a regal black velvet sherwani jacket featuring a classy bandh-gala neckline, delicate zardozi work along the borders, and intricate gold embroidery.
Leander Paes donned a white kurta with intricate gold embroidery. His look was rounded off with a deep purple velvet shawl and pleated dhoti pants, blending grace and contemporary flair.
Karisma Kapoor stole the show in a monochrome saree
Karisma Kapoor walked the ramp for Satya Paul's 'Alchemy' collection, gracing the runway in a black-and-white sequin saree. Adding a contemporary touch to the classic attire, she sported a full-sleeved, black-and-white striped shirt instead of a traditional blouse. Her outfit was paired with a black belt that elevated her chic look.
This marquee event will continue in Mumbai till Sunday, with a star-studded line-up of designers including Amit Aggarwal, Falguni Shane Peacock, Tarun Tahiliani, Shivan and Narresh, Shantanu Nikhil, Rahul Mishra and Manish Malhotra while also shining a spotlight on emerging talent and homegrown brands.
