The Barbie marketing team probably deserve a movie of their own as they leave no stone unturned for hitting our nostalgia with these adorable brand collabs that we’re embracing in all its glory!

The whole month of July has been all about Barbenheimer. The two movies have become such a huge part of pop culture even before its release. Amidst the competition between the two movies, Barbie’s marketing team has gone all out with the movie’s promotions. They have literally brought every dream we had as a child come to life. Everything you ever imagined for your fantasy world to look like. The biggest of brands have been all hands on deck for a Barbie marketing collaboration. Aldo and Crocs have made their own Barbie shoes that look the same as the one the dolls wore. Burger King Brazil has come up with a pink burger and shake combo. Xbox has made a Barbie themed console. Fashion brands like Gap, Forever 21 and H&M have released their own Barbie collections. There’s an aesthetically pink Barbie toothbrush you can start your day with, or a Barbie themed Uno you and your friends can enjoy and the best of it all, if you happen to be in Malibu, then via Airbnb you get to stay in an actual Ken dream house starting July 17. I mean what a way to make someone feel nostalgic, right? This movie clearly has no age limit for joy because even the youngest of toddlers to grandparents can feel happy and vibrant looking at these collaborations. They make you want to live that main character life you’ve always wanted. 

It also makes an impactful statement about how pink really doesn’t have to be a feminine color. It’s for everyone and anyone who wants to embrace it. The color was anyway never out of style but because of this movie in particular it has made a solid comeback into our lives and the word Barbie has become synonymous to pink. The promotions not only make you look forward to watching the movie on the big screen on July 21 but also make you want to wear your favourite pink outfit and feel your absolute best. Barbie’s marketing has made an entire generation fall in love with the cinemas, and the collabs are totally giving us life. The Barbie era is something all of us would look back at as an iconic part of our youth.
