While there is no ‘one solution for all’ given that each of us has different types of skin, these grooming tips will help you look after your hair and skin while sitting at home.

I hate summers. There, I said it! It’s ridiculously hot, our skin is oily but dry, we have acne in areas we didn’t know could get acne and don’t even get me started on blackheads and dull skin. Also how can one weather make our hair frizzy and oily at the same time? Like how is that even possible? While there isn’t an answer to any of the why’s, going to a salon each time we needed a hair spa or a facial always helped.

While this isn’t possible currently, self-grooming is our next best bet. Even something as simple as a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer can help your skin feel so much better in this heat. Say what you want but having a self-care routine that you follow religiously can feel extremely soothing. It’s like you’re looking after yourself for those 15 minutes and nothing else seems to matter. On days you need a little extra TLC, put on a hair mask while you journal or do something that brings you joy.

There is no ‘one solution for all’ given that each of us has different types of skin, but these grooming tips will help you look after your hair and skin while sitting at home.
