Do you have days where you feel like a plastic bag, drifting through the wind and wanting to start again? Or a day where you feel so paper thin, like a house of cards just one blow away from caving in? But then you sit to binge-watch your favorite show and simply watching your favorite comfort characters is enough to make you smile ear to ear! There’s something about that one character in a series that sticks out on so many different levels. We always end up watching them whenever we’re feeling low.
There will be days when you don’t seem to like yourself as much as you did yesterday and that’s okay. Everyone can have their own different ways to cope, just like Chandler Bing from Friends uses humor as his coping mechanism. Lexi from Euphoria was so sophisticated for a character and she is definitely a new-age icon for all teenagers out there! For me, watching Chandler Bing on my worst days made me feel lighter and more confident about myself. So if it worked for me, I’m sure it’s gonna work for you too!
