Bholaa starring Tabu and Ajay Devgn released on the big screen on March 30 and here’s what the Janta thought of the film!
Bholaa is an adaptation of the 2019 Tamil film Kaithi. The Indian remake stars Ajay Devgn as the main protagonist and that’s not it, he's also the director of this movie. The story is about Bholaa (Ajay Devgn) who is released from prison after 10 years and is desperately waiting to reunite with his daughter. Since he's been an absent father so far, he wants to be a part of all the important years of her life. But life has other plans as Diana Joseph (Tabu) pressurises him to help her out in a dangerous situation related to the drug mafia aka the evil Ashwathama (Deepak Dobriyal). Here’s where Bholaa, the devotee of Lord Shiva channels his inner Rudra avatar in order to fight gangsters and that leads to some high octane action scenes.
Some of the Janta really liked the film and felt like Ajay Devgn delivers really well as a director. They felt that the story is a mass entertainer. But there were also many who thought that the film should not have been remade from the original South film and that the action and VFX of the movie are below average. The movie somewhat manages to stay afloat because of the talented cast of the film.
