Bhoot Police

Bhoot Police starring Saif, Arjun, Yami, and Jacqueline is a horror-comedy streaming on Hotstar. Was it a yay or nay for the janta? Let's find out!

Horror-comedy as a genre is in trend right now and it's popular and experimental at the same time. Bhoot Police starring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam, and Jacqueline Fernandez is a horror-comedy that is streaming currently on Diney+ Hotstar. Directed by Pavan Kirpalani the film follows two fake Tantriks aka desi ghostbusters who get into a situation with real ghosts.

Saif and Arjun, are fake Tantrik brothers who don't believe in ghosts and have no knowledge of busting them. They're in this business just for the money and take advantage of people's beliefs, at least Vibhooti (Saif Ali Khan) does. Chiraunji (Arjun Kapoor) still believes in the existence of supernatural forces and learns about them through a particular book of ‘baba ki kitab’. Conflict ensues when these two are hired by tea estate owners and sisters Maya (Yami Gautam) and Kanu (Jacqueline Fernandez) because they believe that the tea estate is haunted by an aatma. But mind you, these wealthy sisters are actually bankrupt and Chiraunji wants to take the legacy of their father ahead. In all of this chaos, warding off the aatma and not believing in the supernatural forces comedy and horror occur.

Was this effective for the janta though? Let's find out!
