Netflix removed Nayathara’s film ‘Annapoorani’ after an FIR over hurting religious sentiments
Annapoorani starring Nayanthara and Jai has been facing backlash due to an FIR. It was filed by Ramesh Solanki of the Hindu IT cell wherein he felt that the film is hurting religious sentiments. The film explores the friendship between a Hindu girl and a Muslim guy. The spokesperson for the Hindu, Vishwa Parishad posted about the film on Twitter asking Netflix to either take the film down or face legal consequences after which the streaming platform decided to take down the film.
Tom Cruise and Warner Bros. sign a deal for developing and producing original as well as franchise films
Tom Cruise has a new deal to develop and produce theatrical films with Warner Bros. Discovery. These movies will be a mix of original productions and franchise fare and will star Cruise. We’re only excited to see what the Top Gun star has in store for us!

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya which is produced by Maddock Films, is the first collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The film will be released on February 9. The cast shared the poster of the film and captioned it as ‘an impossible love story’.
The Mandalorian movie has officially been announced with Jon Favreau set to direct
The Mandalorian movie has been announced by the official Star Wars X account. Pedro Pascal will revive his role as The Mandalorian and along with Baby Yoda, the two are set for another adventure. Jon Favreu will be directing the film and it will go on floors later this year.

'Beef' star Young Mazino has joined the cast of the HBO post-apocalyptic drama ‘Last of Us’ as Jesse. He will star alongside Kaitlyn Dever, who recently boarded the series as Abby, as well as Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. Production on Season 2 is set to start early this year.
The last and final season of Netflix’s popular show Stranger Things was supposed to go on floors last year in May until the Writer’s Strike began and the makers decided to stop filming. After almost a year long break, it has finally begun production and as an announcement, a picture of the entire cast was shared on social media.
