2022 was a year for pan-Indian films as movies from the south worked their magic all across the belt of India like big-scale mass entertainers like RRR, KGF 2, PS-1, or small-budgeted rooted stories like Kantara which gave us some wonderful actors like Rishab Shetty, Karthi, and Yash. And even though there were some disappointing performances from Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Ranveer Singh in Bollywood, Rajkumar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana, Vijay Varma, and Varun Dhawan surely didn't let us down! This list of Indian actors of 2022 who stunned us with their exceptional performances in films covers all of them and more!

Rajkumar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana proved once more that you can always count on them to change the narrative even when it is set by them. Varun Dhawan proved that he very well could experiment within a genre that he is good at too. Though honestly Rishab Shetty and Karthi were disguised as a blessing for the pan-Indian audience that went gaga over them. Then there were actors like Dulquer Salmaan who found new pan-Indian stardom irrespective of working across the belt of India for so long. While Vijay Varma finally got the credit he deserved and while all of these actors had a massive backing of a great story behind them, there were some like Kartik Aaryan and Diljit Dosanjh who really shined out in a film full of flaws. And these Indian male actors not only just saw the ladder of success but reinvented it for themselves as well as for others!
