From highly anticipated trailer drops for Prime Video's unique comedy-drama Rangeen, the update about the first look of Jolly LLB 3 to major announcements for Busan International Film Festival and new series on ZEE5, Apple TV+, Disney+, and Hulu, there is a plethora of fresh content coming the audience's way this year.

Prime Video announces 'Two Much' with Kajol and Twinkle

This streaming platform announced the start of production for its upcoming Original talk show - Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, hosted and helmed by these two actresses. Promising a guest list featuring the biggest names in Bollywood and the industry’s who's who, Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle is touted to be a bold and unapologetically unfiltered talk show.  

First poster for Avatar: Fire and Ash launched 

The makers of Avatar: Fire and Ash unveiled the first poster of the much-anticipated film today. In a bid to build excitement, the first trailer for the James Cameron directorial will be shown in cinemas with the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps on July 25, 2025. The new chapter in the Avatar franchise is slated for a global release on December 19, 2025.

Prime Video announces a comedy drama, Rangeen starring Viineet Kumar Siingh and Rajshri Deshpande

Written and created by Amardeep Galsin and Amir Rizvi, the series sees Siingh’s character Adarsh turning into a sex worker to avenge his cheating wife Naina (Deshpande) who avails the services of another gigolo played by Taaruk Raina. The series premieres on the platform on July 25.

Jolly LLB 3 teaser to be launched with War 2

According to media reports, the teaser of Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s much-awaited courtroom drama is set to be showcased with War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. While the comedy film is slated to release later this year, War 2 will hit the theatres on August 14. 

ZEE5 announces new series Bakaiti 

ZEE5 announced their upcoming series Bakaiti starring Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chaddha, Tanya Sharma, and Aaditya Shukla. More details about the series are awaited. 

Alia Bhatt and Payal Kapadia’s projects selected for the Busan International Film Festival 

Soni Razdan's directorial venture Difficult Daughters, produced by Alia and Shaheen Bhatt and Cannes-winner Payal Kapadia’s Last of Them Plagues have been picked for this year’s Asian Project Market at the Busan International Film Festival. Besides, Saurav Rai's directorial Lanka (The Fire) and Pradip Kurbah's Moon are the other Indian films to be screened at the festival.

Jake Johnson to star in Apple TV+ series titled Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed 

Apple TV+ announced its upcoming dark comedy Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed starring Jake Johnson and Tatiana Maslany. The show, created by David J. Rosen, features a newly divorced mom who falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder, and youth soccer.

Predator: Badlands trailer released 

20th Century Studios unveiled the trailer for Predator: Badlands, the newest entry in the Predator franchise from director and producer Dan Trachtenberg. Starring, Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, the film is set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator, outcast from his clan, finds an ally in Thia (Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary. Predator: Badlands is all set to hit the theaters on November 7.

Eyes of Wakanda is set to premiere on August 27 

Disney+ announced the release date of its animated anthology limited series, Eyes of Wakanda. The single-serving stories will feature the lives of the kingdom’s residents and follow key figures throughout Wakanda’s history. The four-episode series will premiere on Disney+ on August 27. 

Season 2 of Limitless With Chris Hemsworth premieres August 15

Following on the success of 2022’s Limitless With Chris Hemsworth, the three-part National Geographic series is back with its second edition - Limitless: Live Better Now, releasing on August 15 on Hulu. The trailer features the Hollywood action star on a mission to test his endurance and uncover how to live a longer and better life, for which he is shown to undertake science-backed, high-stakes challenges to sharpen his mind and body.
