Jaideep Ahlawat

Jaideep Ahlawat is one such gem of the OTT era whose acting skills are hard to define because his versatility knows no bounds, and he refuses to be boxed in as an actor!

If you watch Gangs of Wasseypur, Rockstar, or Raazi, you might notice a face that is quite popularly ruling our screens these days. Jaideep Ahlawat played Shahid Khan in GoW, Sardar Khan's father, whose death kickstarts it all. He was Jordan's older brother in Rockstar, who kicked Jordan out of the house. He also played Khalid Mir in Raazi, the teacher who taught Sehmat everything. He played Nawab in Raees, Sanjay Rane in Khatta Meetha, Salim in Vishwaroopam, Sudhir in Lust Stories and Babloo in Ajeeb Daastaans! We've watched him a whole lot, a lot of people probably never really knew his name until sometime ago. But over the years, with his work, he has become a name one can bank upon!

No matter the role, from a character actor to being the lead, he has always left his mark because he is an actor who is like water in a vessel and here's proof!

Hathi Ram Chaudhary - Pataal Lok

His role as a determined policeman, Hathi Ram, willing to do anything to find the truth, made him a name known in every household!

Naren Vyas - Jaane Jaan

His effortless portrayal of the 'teacher' is so convincing that you believe everything he says, making the mystery work its charm!

Pradip Kamat - Three of Us

His innocent portrayal of Pradip Kamat with so much love and poetry in his eyes makes you want to be his friend as well!

Bhoora Solanki - An Action Hero

His portrayal of Bhoora draws the perfect balance between a brother grieving the death of his brother and a villain avenging his brother's death!

Deepankar Sanyal - The Broken News

His portrayal of Deepankar as a bad guy in journalism is so good that it makes the best case for the 'love to hate' character!

Happy Birthday to the actor who is slowly making his place as a star.
