Patching up with an up and coming, fan-favourite actor, Nicholas Galitzine, Anne Hathaway has returned to rom-com after a long break!
Following the massive success of Anyone But You, fans of the rom-com genre are eagerly awaiting more feel-good movies. And hitting the right timing, Prime Video has just dropped the trailer for the movie ‘The Idea of You’. The film features the iconic Anne Hathaway and the rising Nicholas Galitzine in a classic rom-com movie with a twist of course!
The film is adapted from Robinne Lee's novel of the same name and directed by Michael Showalter (The Big Sick), the trailer introduces us to Sophie (Anne Hathaway), a 40-year-old single mother who unexpectedly finds love at Coachella with Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine), a 24-year-old pop singer. The narrative unfolds to explore the intricacies posed by their age difference and Campbell's celebrity status. The trailer addresses these problems while showcasing the hardships they are willing to take for each other. As an artist, Hayesbrings a creative spirit to the relationship, while Sophie's passion as an art lover adds a beautiful dynamic to their connection.
The film will have its world premiere on March 16th, 2024 at South by Southwest, an annual festival celebrating film, music, tech and culture and will be available to stream on Prime Video on May 2nd, 2024.
