IIFA 2025 took place in Jaipur. The star-studded event honored talent from digital platforms to silver screens.
International Indian Film Academy Awards, better known by its acronym IIFA awards took place during the weekend in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The event was marked by glitz and glamour as the who’s who of Bollywood gathered in the pink city to celebrate the silver jubilee of the show. IIFA 2025 digital awards were announced on Saturday, followed by the film honors on Sunday. While Laapataa Ladies dominated the film awards, Amar Singh Chamkila and Panchayat 3 took home trophies for Best Film and Web-Series released on an OTT platform, respectively.
While Imtiaz Ali won Best Director for Amar Singh Chamkila, Vikrant Massey (Sector 36), Kriti Sanon (Do Patti) took home trophies for Best Actor. In the series category, Deepak Kumar Mishra bagged the Top Directorial honor for Panchayat Season 3 while Jitendra Kumar (Panchayat Season 3) and Shreya Chaudhry (Bandish Bandits Season 2) took home Best Actor awards.

It was a Laapataa Ladies show altogether as the film bagged 10 awards. Besides Best Film, Laapataa Ladies fetched Kiran Rao (Best Director), Nitanshi Goel (Best Actress), Pratibha Ranta (Best Debut), Ravi Kishan (Best Supporting Role), Sneha Desai (Best Screenplay) and Biplab Goswami (Best Story) the coveted trophy, among others. Kartik Aaryan was adjudged Best Actor for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
IIFA 2025 saw electrifying performances by Bollywood A-listers. From Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit's nostalgia-soaked act to Kareena Kapoor Khan’s tribute to her grandfather and legendary actor Raj Kapoor, the performances went viral in no time and have become a major talking point on social media platforms.
