Ayushmann Khurrana is collaborating with Anand L Rai for a new film. The actor posted about the film on his Instagram saying, "Dikkat Bas Ek Hi Hai, Mujhe Ladne Ki Acting Aati Hai, Ladna Nahin… Super excited for a genre-breaking collab ONCE AGAIN". With an interesting video, this announcement was made.

Sanya Malhotra's new film Meenakshi Sundareshwar teaser is out now

Netflix released the teaser of Sanya Malhotra's new film Meenakshi Sundareshwar and it looks like it covers all types of a cool love story. The film is about two people who are in for an arranged marriage and how they make long-distance work. Check out the teaser that also stars Abhimanyu Dassani.



Alcohol is also a drug, leaves destruction in its wake: Pooja Bhatt

Pooja Bhatt on Sunday took to Twitter to call alcohol a drug, adding that it's not categorized as such because it's socially acceptable for most. "Abuse of alcohol leaves destruction in its wake. Road accidents, domestic violence, bankruptcy, families destroyed, lives lost," she added. Pooja further said, "Focus should be on rehabilitation, not criminalization."

I have personally benefited from therapy: Shruti Hassan on mental health

Speaking about mental health on World Mental Health Day, actress Shruti Haasan said that people have now become aware of it. She added, "I have personally benefited so much from therapy, specifically talk therapy." "It's very odd to treat the brain any differently. It's the mind...It's so many things to do with the functioning of your body," Shruti said.

Big B, Boman-starrer 'Uunchai' shot at world’s most dangerous airport

Sooraj Barjatya's 'Uunchai', starring veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, and Danny Denzongpa, was shot at the world's most dangerous airport Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Nepal. Parineeti Chopra will also be seen in 'Uunchai' in the role of a Nepali tourist guide. Except for Amitabh Bachchan and Danny Denzongpa, all other actors would reportedly shoot at the location.

Sidharth Shukla wins award for 'Broken But Beautiful 3' posthumously

Late actor Sidharth Shukla, who made his digital debut with producer Ekta Kapoor's 'Broken But Beautiful 3', won a posthumous award for the web series. The actor won Popular Actor (Male) in Web Originals by SCREENXX for his portrayal of the character Agastya Rao. Ekta took to her Instagram account on Saturday to congratulate Sidharth for the win.

Kireet Khurana announces documentary on India's homeless people

Filmmaker Kireet Khurana on Sunday announced his upcoming documentary on India's homeless people titled 'The Invisible Visible'. The film was shot across Delhi, Dehradun, Kanpur, and villages in Maharashtra and Bihar, and is based on the Bombay Beggary Prevention Act 1959. Kireet said that the film shows how the Act has left homeless people vulnerable to imprisonment, torture, and dehumanization.

Actress Parvathy pens a note on surviving Bulimia, says 'no aspect of my body spared'

Parvathy Thiruvothu penned a note on surviving Bulimia, an eating disorder. "People I worked with used to...comment on how my cheeks were 'too full'...Not a single aspect of my body was spared...Soon enough, I spiraled down an extreme case of Bulimia," she wrote. Jake Gyllenhaal has been roped in to play the lead role in the upcoming superhero movie 'Prophet'. The film is based on 'Deadpool' creator Rob Liefeld's Image comic book series. 'Prophet' will be directed by Sam Hargrave, who also helmed Chris Hemsworth and Randeep Hooda starrer 'Extraction'. Marc Guggenheim is penning the script.

Kristen Stewart's film 'Spencer' based on Princess Diana's life premiered at the London Film Festival on Thursday. The film will be based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book 'American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J Robert Oppenheimer'. Universal Pictures will distribute the film theatrically which is slated to release on July 21, 2023.
