The BIG REVEAL - this years Christmas tree? Decided to DIY my tree with some baby’s breath flowers because...that’s just me and according to @deeep_24 I I love to complicate things ? (or as I like to call it - make things more unique) . Also for the record - I was bullied into putting red onto our otherwise ‘white’ Christmas tree this year - because Squishy told me that I’m “wayyy too boring”. So yeah that’s a little life update...but most importantly did you all like my tree??? And the addition of a little red? ❤️? . Can’t believe It’s already December...3 weeks until Christmas but just 2 weeks until my next holiday! Woohooo!! ✨?? #realhomes #christmasinmumbai #christmastreeDIY #DIYideas #trythisathome #babysbreath #stylingyourchristmastree #stylingtheseasons.

Wow, I am so happy with how the house turned out this year! At the beginning of every Christmas season, it’s always a little bit scary to get started. As most of you know, though I do reuse a lot of my pieces each year, my overall concept changes so much every year! To be honest, there were times this year when I just wasn’t sure if we were going to pull off the vision I had in my mind ? Just as in past years though, all the hard work paid off and somehow it all came together? I am very interested to learn what some of your favorite elements are in this picture? What should I do for the outside next year??? . . . #christmashometour #christmashomes #gingerbreadhouses #frostings #sandbuckets #foaminsulation #sprayfoaminsulation #sprayfoam #christmaslight #christmaslovelovelove #christmashouse #christmashomedecor

Welcome to our holiday master bedroom! I absolutely love the way it turned out this year! Fun fact...I originally planned on using this bedding for our guest room, but when I saw it in person it was sooo adorable and I knew I had to style it in my room instead! I mean, who was I kidding... it's buffalo plaid!! Giggle : ) To put this room together I mixed and matched pieces from the @marthastewart holiday collection at @macys ! Almost everything is on sale right now, so be sure to check it out through the link in my bio or at your local @macys stores, and you can re-create this look in your own room! <3 #ad #imsomartha . . . . #masterbedroom #christmasbedding #masterbedroomdesign #traditionalchristmas #buffaloplaid #redandgreen #bedroominspo #bedroomideas

Would you consider yourself an impulse buyer? I have to confess that there are moments where I go with the flow but I have honestly improved over the years. But when you see good deals you don’t want to walk away from them ??‍♀️??‍♀️. For instance, this mirrored cabinet I been wanting one for some time but didn’t want to pay $1,400-$1,500 which was the original price and still at that price in some stores and websites but then I found it in Amazon for $560 so there is posing in my house ? Then I went to @marshalls Marshall’s and saw that beautiful gold hammered tree’s skirt and it had my name all over ?. Another day I went to Ross and there is the gorgeous gold bow chair for $60 and I know the regular price is not less than $200 so there is the chair too(planing to change the ulphostery because right now its like a dusty pink almost plum). The table lamps from @safavieh is the only item I searched and planned for this space and I love them too. The mirror? The mirror is a vintage piece from @pier1 Pier1. Bought it like 9 yrs ago and love the quality is a heavy wood mirror my husband has to install it because of the weight and it was a beautiful deep red. Years later when I changed my home scheme color I painted gold. So I may be an impulse buyer but most of the time I know it was worth it and I keep it for years. What about you? There is something so magical about a Christmas tree don’t you think? It brings back all the feelings, emotions and memories of years passed. Some happy, some not so much. To me this tree is symbolic of a chance to do things over again. To do better or change those things from the past. Growing up we would often get our tree on Christmas Eve...how I wished we could have a big, beautiful tree up for many days before christmas. I wished to decorate the house inside and out, put lights in the windows, dance around the house and sing Christmas carols! Now I can make these wishes a reality for my own kids and in doing so, for myself too. This is such a true comfort and blessing❤️ #cottonstemhearts? #christmastree #christmasmemories #holidays #seasonaldecor #farmhousechristmas #modernfarmhouse #betterhomesandgardens #bhghowiholiday #bhghome #thecottagejournal #cottagesandbungalows #mycountryhome #countrylivingmag #southernlivingmag #theeverygirlathome #smmakelifebeautiful #crazy4christmasdecor #housebeautiful #thatsgoodhousekeeping #thiswomansday #americanfarmhousestyle

When you can use things of everyday utility as décor to enhance your space, isn’t that the best? All the blankets and throws on MyDesiSwag had us feeling warm and cozy all week. But this pretty pic by @the.whimsicallife had us coming back for more. The warm colours, twinkling lights, Christmas candles and berries and the throw, casually thrown in… It’s winter vibes at its best and I don’t think I’d ever want to leave. In fact, we’re inspired enough by Radhika to create some winter vignettes of our own. Spaces that make you forget the bitter cold and make you feel fuzzy and festive instead. So the theme for this week is ‘Winter Cheer’. Please share your pics with the following in your write up: Pic for Winter Cheer for #MyDesiSwag. Tagging @preethiprabhu @rittika_ariyonainterior @the.whimsicallife Make sure to follow the hosts too. We check.. every time! We will feature our favourite pic on our feeds next Monday and invite the winner to guest host next week's round with us. Entries open till Saturday. A big thanks to @cozyyylilcorner for hosting with us last week… it was great to have you join us. . . . . . #contest #indiacontest #christmas #christmastree #cosywinter #cozyvibes #christmascorner #christmasvibes #winterfeels #winterhasarrived #wintershere #happychristmas #merrychristmas #holidays #christmasdecor #christmasdecorations #xmasdecor #lovechristmas #christmassy #christmaslovers #xmasspirit #ihavethisthingwithfairylights #indianfestivals #homedecorinspo #homestylinginspo #interiorinspirations

It was very easy to do and extremely therapeutic and see how lovely it turned out to be!!!! So head on to @yakult_ukireland Instagram page and check out all the origami art you can create. I am officially tired of the dreary weather in my neck of the woods! While soft fluffy snow is falling an hour up in the mountains from here, we are getting the annoying rain. The days are short and there is no sight of Mr Sun. I am drinking tonnes of coffee to maintain my sanity although I wonder how much caffeine is too much ??I decided to keep the bigger rug in the family room. It does feel cozy and warm here now. I am watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix and feeling very unproductive. What can I say, I blame the sun ?What about you?
