Vlogger Anurag Dobhal posts distressing video announcing his exit from YouTube

The content creator opened up about strained family ties following his wedding, describing months of emotional turmoil and isolation as his reason to quit YouTube.

Content creator Anurag Dobhal, who is popularly known online as UK07 Rider recently shared an emotional and worrying video on his social media platforms. In the video, which runs for nearly two hours, Anurag broke down while speaking about the turmoil in his personal life and the strained relationship with his family following his inter-caste marriage to his girlfriend Ritika. Along with the video, he posted a screenshot titled “The last message,” which left many of his followers concerned about his mental and emotional state. Speaking directly to the camera, Anurag said that his life had changed drastically over the past few months in ways he had never imagined. He described feeling shattered and overwhelmed, adding that he has been struggling to cope with intense emotions. 

During the video, he alleged that his parents and certain family members did not accept his marriage and made the situation extremely difficult for him. According to Anurag, he was pressured and humiliated in front of relatives and was asked to apologise publicly. He claimed that he was told he would not be allowed to live peacefully if he chose to go ahead with the marriage.

Anurag further revealed that his wife Ritika has now left him, and he spoke about feeling isolated and helpless. He mentioned that he had not eaten properly for several days and felt mentally exhausted. At one point in the video, he made statements suggesting that he was contemplating suicide, which alarmed many viewers. The couple had dated for two years before getting married in May last year. Anurag shared that Ritika had initially reached out to him as a fan on social media for a long time before they eventually connected and developed a relationship. In September, they had also announced that they were expecting their first child.

Many people online have responded with messages of concern, hoping he takes a step back, surrounds himself with support, and prioritises his well being during what appears to be an extremely difficult phase in his life.
