Lautt aao YouTuber era Be YouNick, because we miss your old videos, and here's why we feel they will always be iconic.
It wouldn’t be inaccurate to say that Nikunj Lotia, better known as Be YouNick, is one of the few creators who has inspired many to pursue content creation as a full-time career. With his relatable and clever humor, he has built a strong personal brand through his videos. All the way from the Republic of Dombivli, Nick carved out his own niche that is set to remain iconic. His videos had a unique life of their own, something we miss today, especially at a time when we are constantly bombarded with content.
A lot of what I associate with Be YouNick's content ties back to my time as a college student. His older videos evoke the feeling of sharing a hot cup of cutting chai with friends at a tapri near campus. They remind me of those carefree moments spent laughing with friends. Be it his videos on Mass Bunking or That One Friend series, his videos were a perfect blend of innocence and mischief, reminding us of our inner child.
As more people join the creator community, I find myself reminiscing about his earlier videos, which I truly miss. No matter how creative people get with reimagining popular TV shows, Nick's version of Pablo Escobar will always remain iconic. I'm sure his ability to wordplay and place the characters in the Indian setting became a roadmap for many upcoming creators.
While it would have easily crossed the line and turned into something uncomfortable, his Men Will Be Men series was able to stand out. With a style that had Be YouNick written all over it. It's only natural that it turned out to be a successful property!
Aside from his talent for cracking jokes, it was his passion for music that made us love his videos even more. We would click on a video, eagerly anticipating not only the content but also looking forward to the outro. His channel seamlessly blended content with music, and their 'Subscribe' songs deserve to be played on repeat.
With our ever-decreasing attention as we shift from choosing short videos, watching Be YouNick's older videos is a reminder of the beauty of longer formats. His channel was able to give people more reasons to smile, and we really miss those days when we had a new Be YouNick video to look forward to. Thank you, Nick for all the videos we can still go back to and here's hoping we can see more of them!
