The Cannes Film Festival returns and so does the exciting lineup of directors, and filmmakers that represent India. India’s journey at the Cannes Film Festival goes down a long timeline dating from 1946 to 2023, and as artists people haven’t stopped making history at this global platform. Along with the Indian film industry making a mark each year, the Indian content creator community also managed to pick up on the fame. With the increasing global influence of content creators and the growing recognition of social media influencers in the entertainment industry, the festival saw a huge turnout of Indian content creators representing India at the Cannes Film Festival.
Last year was a significant milestone with top and popular content creators walking the carpet supporting and celebrating art, and entertainment. For some, it was revisiting their historic moments while for some it was a milestone opportunity in their respective careers. With each creator being repped and sponsored for the Cannes Festival by different brands, it truly became a festival of and for the masses.
