Content creators are getting up close with cricketers through collaborations, allowing fans to see the ICC T20 Men's World Cup 2026 in a whole new light.
With one of the most anticipated cricket tournaments, the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, back in action, creators are joining the scoreboard in their own trendy ways. The ICC's Creator Club, announced in 2023, is an initiative that allows cricket-loving creators to get down on the turf and cover the matches however they please. Last year's World Cup saw more than 500 creators from across the country being invited to attend matches, visit the turf, get behind-the-scenes access, meet cricketers and create content around it. Creators are running with the ritual in 2026 and collaborating with cricketers from various teams.
From interviews to funny bits, creators can be seen smashing this opportunity to their full advantage. Payal Dhare, known for her gaming content, got a chance to compliment cricketer Ishan Kishan on his game and winning the Man of the Match title. While Satish Ray collaborated with Kuldeep Yadhav, trying to take his place and play the match, Aryan Kataria pranked the Afghanistani team by not letting them speak. Meanwhile, Gulrez Khan, Danny Pandit and the Funcho guys collaborated with cricketers to make some really funny content. These collaborations are breaking the realm of social media as fans get to see their favourite cricketers outside the strict game zone.
Here are some creators collaborating with our favourite cricketers:
Beyond meeting cricketers, the Creators Club has provided creators with other means of creating content; some share their experiences at matches, while others make content around the game. Either way, creators have become an integral part of promoting the World Cup, and it's their way of being a part of a glorious history.
Here is how other creators are covering the World Cup:
