Shivesh Bhatia, Amulya Rattan, Vridhhi Patwa, and Sonali Bhadauria look back at the year to talk about the trends of 2025 that caught their attention and made them rethink how they create.
By the end of the year, certain trends and algorithmic patterns become hard to miss, especially for people who spend most of their time creating, engaging, and posting online. Not every format or idea makes it through the year, but a few consistently influence how content is made, shared, and received. These trends are not always loud or immediately obvious. They emerge gradually, in the way creators adjust their tone, rethink formats, or change how they interact with audiences. Looking back, many creators found themselves noticing the same developments, even if they approached them from different starting points.
So we asked Shivesh Bhatia, Amulya Rattan, Vridhhi Patwa, and Sonali Bhadauria, all prominent names in their respective niches, to look back at the year and share what really stood out to them, the trends they noticed, and the things that stayed with them as creators.

Here's what they shared!
Shivesh Bhatia believes that 2026 will be the year of the Ingredient Revolution. "Last year, we saw matcha and pistachio take centre stage as hero ingredients, strong enough to make people try a dish simply because they were on the menu. In 2026, ingredients won’t just be components of recipes; they’ll be the headline. The audience is gravitating towards ingredients that feel special, functional, traceable, and rooted in a story that connects with them and is a big part of their everyday life."
According to Amulya Rattan, 2025 was spent deep in the fantasy of ‘Castlecore’ and the unapologetic power of the ‘Goddess Complex.’ "It was all about gothic romance in our home decor and embracing divine, gold-dripped femininity in our beauty routine. It was bold, regal, and maximalist. But for 2026, I predict the vibe will shift towards 'slow living and digital detox. We’ll move away from high-aesthetic consumption to celebrating 'under-consumption' and mindful living. I expect to see more 'unplugged' travel vlogs and content that romanticizes the mundane, offline moments—less about 'look what I bought' and more about 'look how I’m peacefully living."
Sonali Bhadauria highlights how dance in 2025 wasn’t limited to just dance creators anymore. "Even creators from other genres started using dance as their main way to promote content, music, and campaigns. Dance became the easiest and most effective way to show up online this year. From fashion and beauty to lifestyle and comedy creators, everyone was dancing. It turned into a powerful promotional tool across genres."
For Vridhhi Patwa, who is present across multiple platforms, one thing that really stood out this year was how much brands leaned into real-life experiences and celebrity interactions as a way to build excitement and community, especially by bringing creators into the mix and encouraging them to create moments that are personal. "My experiences at Snap With Stars made me realise how impactful these formats are as they create shared experiences where fans, creators & celebrities are all part of the same conversation. My first interaction with Rashmika Mandanna, and later moments like the Christmas party edition featuring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, became a core memory for me. It shows how brands are creating spaces where celebrities feel more accessible, creators get to tell authentic stories, and audiences feel genuinely involved rather than marketed to."
