That's exactly what has happened with content creators Nick Wilkins and Cassie, who have been assigned their own ship name 'Nassie'. Considering how love may not always be like the ones in books and movies, we find a way to experience the same through others. What was once called rooting, ‘shipping’ has become the modern way to witness our favourite couple end up together. We all acknowledge that it's cringy, but it's giving every hopeless romantic a reason to keep believing in love. This could also be why people have decided to root for Nick Wilkins and Cassie. While we get the hype around fictional characters who may not have been fated to end up together in the movie, series, or book, having people ship real-life people together might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
