At first, it looks like a sketch of human anatomy, but the more you wait, the more you discover a masterpiece by PS Rathour.
Every day, we come across artists on Instagram, each with their own style and way of creating art. It almost feels normal to be amazed by the kind of creativity people bring online. But once in a while, we encounter an artist whose work actually makes you want to stop scrolling and look twice. PS Rathour is one of them. His art, in general, is beautiful, but there’s this one series that really catches everyone’s attention the moment we see it.
In this series, he doesn’t start a portrait the way most artists do. Instead of beginning with a face or an outline, he starts how a human body from the inside, gradually building his subject layer by layer. Sometimes it begins with a skeleton and sometimes with the muscular system. As he continues to paint, you slowly see a person come to life on the canvas. It’s fascinating to watch, not just for how realistic it looks, but for how it makes you think about what it means to truly create something human. The idea sounds almost impossible at first, especially for those of us who struggle to even draw a decent stick figure, but by the end, you’re left convinced that art really has no limits when someone dares to see it from a different perspective.
