Some trends made us laugh, some had us hitting replay, and others we didn’t see coming at all. This is everything that caught our eye online this week.

This week online had its share of inside jokes only the internet could understand, fleeting obsessions that came and went in a flash, and a few moments that actually made people stop mid‑scroll. Trends came and went, memes found their way into every comment section, and certain songs seemed impossible to escape. Between the noise and the novelty, a few things still managed to stand out and here’s a look at them.

AI turns Saiyaara into a Kishore Kumar rendition that’s going viral

When Saiyaara hit the theatres, the conversation wasn’t just about the film or its story, but mostly about how people reacted to it. For a whole week, we saw people either getting completely swept away by the film’s approach or talking about those who were moved by it. Now, it’s back in conversations again, but for a different reason as an AI version of the song in Kishore Kumar’s voice is going around the internet, and people are in awe.

Memes and Trends

Nicky Minaj Challenge

The Nicki Minaj challenge is the latest thing taking over social media platforms, and it’s as tricky as it looks. It starts with a one‑legged squat, crossing the other leg over while balancing in the highest heels you can find. Once you’ve mastered that, people are cranking it up with striking the pose on kitchen counters, playground monkey bars, even gym equipments. The whole thing comes from a clip in Nicki Minaj’s 2013 High School music video that’s suddenly back in the spotlight, and now everyone’s competing to see who can pull it off in the wildest spot possible.

Editing is so important

You’ve probably come across those posts on social media that show the magic of editing by comparing a raw “before” shot with a perfectly polished “after” version, but there’s a new trend that’s turning that idea on its head in the funniest way possible. Creators start with a completely normal, unedited video and label it as the “before,” leading the audience to expect a beautifully edited, cinematic “after” clip only to completely flip the script by revealing the most ridiculous, absurd, and over‑the‑top edits they can come up with, making the whole thing unexpectedly hilarious.

Pulling a horror prank on your friends

It’s like an unspoken friendship rule that you don’t act weird when your friend invites someone over. But a new trend on social media is throwing that rule out the window. In these videos, the moment someone finds out their friend has invited someone over, they start acting completely unhinged and sometimes even teaming up with others to make it feel like they’re performing some sort of forbidden ritual. The exaggerated reactions, over‑the‑top theatrics, and sheer randomness of these videos are exactly what’s making people laugh.

Trending songs

This week, people had a lot of fun recreating the choreography from new releases like Bolo Bolo, and AP Dhillon’s new song had everyone trying out their own reel ideas. We also kept spotting creative edits on The One along with a few other tracks that made their way into numerous videos. Here are the ones we ended up seeing the most on our feeds
