From viral trends to thought-provoking conversations, social media this week offered plenty for people to engage with.
There’s always something new drawing attention online, and this week was no different, with trends and conversations keeping social media active.
Some conversations that caught our attention
The Epstein files return to public attention
The Epstein files have once again drawn attention after a fresh release of documents. The initial drop included thousands of files, photos, and logs, many of them heavily redacted, giving little clarity while resurfacing familiar names and unanswered questions. Any expectation of a complete disclosure was further shaken when officials announced that a much larger set of documents would take more time to process.
On social media, the conversation quickly picked up. Users began dissecting the released material, sharing claims of missing or “unredacted” information, posting memes about delays, and debating whether the rollout was intentional.
Social media can’t stop talking about Akshaye Khanna in Dhurandhar
More than the plotline or the story of Dhurandhar, what really dominated conversations this week was AkshayeKhanna’s performance. Across social media, viewers singled out his acting as the standout element of the film, with clips, stills, and dialogues from the movie being widely shared.

Memes and Trends
Seeing yourself in a character
There’s a heartwarming trend where people say they love certain characters because they see themselves in them. Not just the good parts, but the flaws, emotions, and little habits too. Pointing out the character you relate to feels like saying, this is a part of me. And that’s what makes the trend so comforting.
I hate your taste in music
But the idea of what we call good music is completely subjective, because good music is simply what you vibe to, and there’s a trend right now where people are proudly owning their so-called peculiar music choices, even when they don’t fit the popular definition of good.
