His fashion house confirmed the news on September 4. Soon after, social media was full of tributes, with people remembering not just his influence on the runway but also how his designs that shaped the idea of elegance for generations. Many called his legacy “unmatched” and shared how Armani’s work changed the way they saw fashion. 

Chetan Bhagat’s new novel teaser draws backlash over age gap and recycled plot

Chetan Bhagat is back with a new novel, 12 Years: My Messed-up Love Story, and the teaser has already got people talking on social media. HarperCollins India unveiled this book on Wednesday, describing it as “a powerful, unputdownable tale of love, lust, madness and fate.” The story follows a 33-year-old Punjabi man, divorced and jaded, and a 21-year-old Jain woman who has never had a boyfriend. On paper, they shouldn’t fit: he’s older, she’s younger; he’s experienced, she’s just starting out. And yet, as the publisher puts it, they “can’t stay apart.” The announcement has split readers online. Some are curious to see Bhagat’s latest take on messy relationships, while others feel the age gap and the premise are all too familiar. Either way, the book has already become a talking point.

Guru Randhawa’s Azul video criticised on social media for ‘inappropriate’ school scene

Guru Randhawa’s recently released music video Azul has stirred controversy this week, with much of the debate playing out on social media. The criticism centres on a scene where Randhawa, playing a photography teacher, watches actress Anshika Pandey perform a dance in a school uniform. Many viewers have called the visual inappropriate, pointing out how it shows the teacher appearing “captivated” by a school student. Posts questioning the narrative and condemning the theme have been widely shared across platforms. Despite the growing conversation online, Guru Randhawa has not addressed the backlash or issued any official statement.
