Miss those old Indian daily soap promos? Swarnadeep and Joydipto have your back with their own renditions. 

Remember the time when Naagin or Kum Kum Bhagya were first announced, and you wondered, “What could this show be about?” Well, promos were the answer to that. A short video that summed up the plot of the show and introduced its characters. They were the television variations of trailers. Well, that time is long gone, lost in the ever-changing wave of the internet, mostly because the need for promos has been replaced with actual trailers and teasers. Although these promos still exist, we can't deny that placing them as 15-second clips for social media has made them lose their edge. That’s until Swarnadeep Gayen and Joydipto Ghosh cracked the code of making one.

The two content creators are single-handedly bringing back the magic of promos, one reel at a time. Their reels have a plot so well fleshed out that it feels like an actual show, if not better than what we already have. A cohesive storyline accompanied by background music that feels too nostalgic that you'll fall in love with. They have the right amount of story and drama along with a bit of mirch masala. It's uncanny the way Gayen and Ghosh's Reels slam onto the nostalgia button. This doesn't come as a surprise, especially considering they have their own episodic microdrama series. Together they have characters that feel authentic, relatable and fascinating, with conflicts that are very 2010’s core. Their imaginary promos make you scream, “I would watch this!” and leave you wanting more.
