From viral moments to creator wins, the internet had plenty to talk about this week. Here’s your rundown of everything that happened.

MrBeast’s Beast Land is now open, marking the creator’s biggest move from YouTube to an on-ground experience. The 45-day pop-up theme park in Riyadh, part of Riyadh Season 2025, turns its well-known challenges into real attractions, obstacle courses and high-energy rides. The Family Man 3 released an unconventional promo featuring Samay Raina, Tanmay Bhat and Rebel Kid, replacing the usual trailer format with a short creator-led reel. The video begins like a standard online skit but shifts into a style that aligns with the show’s mix of humour and suspense. The collaboration has started conversations online, with viewers noting the creators’ decision to tap into digital-first talent for promotion. Speaking of such collaborations, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) 17 recently hosted a comedy special featuring a stellar lineup of creators, including Anubhav Singh Bassi, Ravi Gupta, Abhishek Upmanyu and Harsh Gujral. The episode brought together some of the most loved voices in stand-up. Meanwhile, Taran Singh has been nominated for Exceptional Talent in Acting and Films in the Debutante of the Year category for his performance in Munjya.

On a different note, YouTube’s India–SmithGeiger report offered an interesting look at how young Indians are approaching content creation. The study notes that 83% of Gen Z consider themselves creators. The number shows just how normal making content has become for this age group. What really stands out, though, is where these creators are coming from. Instead of being centred in Mumbai or Delhi, most of them are now based in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities like Indore, Jaipur, Nagpur and Patna. With a phone and reliable Internet, the idea that only big cities can produce creators is clearly becoming outdated.
