A look at the creator moments that made headlines on social media this week.
Analog watch startup Rotoris has raised $3 million in a seed funding round, with Tanmay Bhat coming on board as an investor. The round was led by Nikhil Kamath and Vivek Anand Oberoi, alongside Venture Catalysts and 100 Unicorns. Meanwhile, creator-led ventures continued to make headlines. Elvish Yadav’s influence translated into instant numbers this week as the influencer-turned-actor launched his clothing label, Systumm, clocking sales worth ₹25 lakh within just 11 minutes. The overwhelming response even caught Elvish by surprise, with fans rushing to place orders and the collection selling out almost immediately.
In the beauty space, Mrunal Panchal expanded her brand Mrucha Beauty with the launch of a freckles pen, marking another example of creators extending their presence beyond content. Anushka Hazra opened the finale show for designer Archana Kochhar at the Delhi Times Fashion Week. Thugesh returns with a new season of Lafda Central, meanwhile, Komal Pandey joined filmmaker Karan Johar on the Manyavar Shaadi show to discuss wedding styling. Rounding off the week with a milestone moment, Sahil Rana marked seven years of his content creation journey, celebrating over 35 million followers across social media platforms and more than 20 million subscribers on his gaming channel.
