Yuvaa organized its annual Sisterhood Slumber Party on 6th March in Mumbai, bringing together women from all walks of life for a night of unfiltered conversations and entertainment. The party celebrated sisterhood and created a space where women could let loose, share their thoughts, and have a great time without any inhibitions.

It opened with a powerful spoken word performance by Gunjan Saini, taking over the audience with her words. This was followed by an interesting segment of the evening, “Decoding Paisa, Gaadi, Mehenga Ghar in Girl Math Language,” featuring a stellar lineup that included Sameera Reddy, Ridhi Dogra, finance influencer Neha Nagar, and spoken word poet Nayab Midha. This insightful conversation explored the concept of “Girl Math” and discussed how this idea could be flipped to empower women financially, making finance less intimidating and more relatable.
After a stand-up comedy act by Devanshi Shah, people witnessed the much-anticipated “Decoding The Behencode” session featuring Kusha Kapila and Srishti Dixit. With no moderator to steer the conversation, the two effortlessly flowed from one topic to another, bouncing off each other’s stories and sharing their unfiltered thoughts on everything from friendship to womanhood. The audience found themselves nodding in agreement, laughing, and even reflecting on their own experiences.
The Good Girl Show segment brought something new to the table, as RJ Pari from the Yuvaa team introduced her latest podcast, centered around the idea of the “Good Girl” stereotype and was joined by guests Saba Azad and Shreya Dhanwanthary, who spoke candidly about their own stories of breaking free from these expectations and how the podcast aims to challenge the narrative around being a “good girl.” With fun activities the “I’m Just a Girl! Bingo” hosted by Gen Z influencer Devishi Madaan had the audience excitedly crossing off squares on their bingo cards that featured hair-related prompts.
The energy shifted as the night moved towards the Ask Me Anything session with Shefali Shah, moderated by Anusha Shetty, the creative head of the event. The conversation began with a fun icebreaker, but it quickly turned into a deeper discussion about self-image, self-doubt, and self-worth. It was a fitting end to the conversations, leaving everyone with something to ponder long after the event was over. Music was an integral part of the evening too, with Saniya MQ lighting up the stage with her rap performance, filling the atmosphere with her raw energy.
