Dhamaka

Kartik Aaryan starrer Dhamaka's trailer questions a man's willingness to lose everything to win something back.

Today, Netflix released the trailer of the Kartik Aaryan starrer Dhamaka and it looks like the journey of a man who faces his own truth while dealing with an ongoing bomb blast. Helmed by Ram Madhvani (Aarya, Neerja) the film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Amruta Subhash, Vikas Kumar, and Vishwajeet Pradhan in pivotal roles. Kartik Aaryan will be playing the role of a news anchor who is dealing with an ongoing crisis while being live.

According to the trailer, Kartik as Arjun Pathak seems to have lost everything in his life, his career as a primetime news anchor, and his love and wife, Mrunal Thakur. But what he first brushed off as a prank call while being On Air about a bomb blast at Sea Link turns out to be pretty serious when the bomb actually goes off. After this, Arjun's whole life is upside down while he's being forced to bring in TRP while being live with the terrorist. He can't help but face his own truth as well. The question in the trailer is 'to win something, will you lose everything?', well that remains to be answered by Arjun Pathak.

Netflix’s official synopsis says, "When a cynical ex-TV news anchor gets an alarming call on his radio show, he sees a chance for a career comeback — but it may cost him his conscience." Dhamaka will release on November 19, only on Netflix!
