As Marvel and DC fans have an exciting time with their much-awaited shows and movies finally making it to the screen, the Star Wars fans can finally hold their ‘High Ground’ of excitement. The digital platform DisneyPlus revealed the Obi-Wan Kenobi series cast on Monday. It is one of the series from the Star Wars franchise that the fans have been waiting eagerly for. The upcoming “special event series” will be set 10 years after the events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.”

Deborah Chow, who has also directed two episodes of DisneyPlus’ The Mandalorian will be directing the show. Ewan McGregor who plays the Jedi Master will be reprising his role. The actor has been getting into shape for the show and had earlier teased that the production might start soon. Another exciting news about actor Hayden Christensen joining the cast to play his iconic role of Darth Vader was revealed in December.

Other cast members, according to DisneyPlus, who will be joining Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen in the series are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.

Fans are overjoyed with the excitement of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series finally taking shape. However, there is no official premiere date for the show yet.
