Formula 1 Drive To Survive Season 4 came out on Netflix on March 11. Let's see if the Janta is happy with the new season!
Drive To Survive is Netflix and Formula 1's collaboration in order to give their fans exclusive and up-close insight into the struggles that each team goes through before their drivers put down their visors and race each other. The first season aired back in 2019 and the interest in the sport has increased drastically since then. It raised eyebrows and churned curious minds to get hooked to the sport. The Docu-Series features all 10 Formula 1 teams and each team has two drivers racing for them, so in total, we have 20 drivers to focus on.
The series is produced by James Gay-Rees and Paul Martin for the production company Box to Box films and Sophie Todd is the production's showrunner. The first three seasons followed the championships from 2018-to 2020 while giving us perspective into the rich history of the sport, the teams, the team principals, and the drivers. The crew follows each team during different races throughout the year and reveals the expectations they have from the season. There are big-budget and highly popular teams such as Mercedes, Red Bull, Ferrari, Mclaren, Aston Martin, Alpine, Alpha Tauri, and the small budget teams such as Alfa Romeo, Haas, and Williams who even after being some of the oldest teams in formula 1 have to deal with the pressures of having limited funds and getting sponsors to keep their teams going.
Formula 1 has always been a controversial and high-speed sport on and off track. There's so much at stake and people from around the world have invested a lot of their time and emotions in their favorite teams and drivers so the opinions after almost every race are very blunt and passionate, to say the least. The biggest highlight that had the viewers waiting eagerly for this season was the thrilling championship title war between Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Mercedes' 7-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton. There were a lot of debatable moves that the two made on each other last season and had the world of Formula 1 divided into two sides till the very last minute of the very last unforgettable race.
Has this docu-series managed to stay true to the real life off track? Let's find out what the janta has to say!

Drive to survive season 4 is pretty shit innit. barely 10% of what took place is actually shown. annoying and out of context placements of quotes. ehh... waste of time

Aston Martin and Alfa Romeo didn't even featured in whole season of DTS. A huge disrespect to Kimi and Vettel. As a Vettel fan this would be my favourite scene of #DriveToSurvive season 4.

Season 4 : I’ve learnt that Christian Horner is a brat Karen little bi*tch that complains simply to stoke drama. Shows Redbull for what it really is #DriveToSurvive pic.twitter.com/aREiW23Iis
