After seeing a viral picture of the 3 Idiots trio Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and R. Madhavan. Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a video of herself speculating a sequel without her and even called Boman Irani to talk about the news. While if a sequel is brewing or not is still not confirmed, we can still take this as a hint for a second chapter of the blockbuster.

Bomman and Bellie, the couple on whom the Oscar winning documentary was based on, finally got to hold the golden trophy in their hands and the expression is priceless. The picture was shared by the documentary’s director Kartiki Gonsalves and the smile on their faces says it all.

Netflix announces season 3 of Indian Matchmaking

Sima Taparia aka Sima Aunty is coming back for Season 3. The docu-series will once again follow South Asian singles in India and across the world searching for their spouses. The series will stream on Netflix from April 21.

Netflix announces a unique and romantic fantasy thriller ‘Tooth-Pari’

A vampire (Tanya Maniktala) falls for a shy human dentist (Shantanu Maheshwari) from Kolkata. The Netflix series also includes Sikander Kher, Adil Hussain, Revathy, Saswata Chatterjee and Tillotama Shome. The series will be streaming on Netflix starting April 20.

Ed Sheeran’s docu-series to stream on Disney+Hotstar this May

Premiering on May 3,  the four-part docu-series will give an exclusive insight into Sheeran’s journey as a child to a famous singer. With never before seen footage from his personal archives, new interviews with his family, intimate performances, and more.

Paramount Pictures is remaking Alfred Hitchcock’s 1958 classic Vertigo, with Robert Downey Jr as the lead character. According to speculations, the script will be written by Steven Knight who has also made Peaky Blinders. 

Apple to spend one billion dollars a year to make films that can be released on the big screen

Apple is planning to spend $1 billion a year to produce movies that will be released in theatres. The company wants to air movies in thousands of theatres for at least one month. Most of their previous work has either been exclusive to the streaming service or released in a limited number of theatres.


Filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar who was known for hit films like Parineeta and Mardani passes away

Director Pradeep Sarkar passed away at the age of 67. According to reports, he was taken to the hospital after his potassium levels dropped. The industry is truly saddened by the loss of a prolific filmmaker. Kajol, who featured in his last directorial, shared a picture with him on Twitter expressing her grief towards his untimely death.
