Tom Holland and Zendaya arrive in Mumbai for the inauguration of the NMACC
Spider-Man fame Zendaya and Tom Holland who are also dating in real life, were spotted at the Kalina airport earlier today. The couple were seen exiting together in a car. The two Hollywood stars are here for the inauguration event of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre which will take place over the weekend. Many other stars are also expected to arrive for the same.
Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan teaser released
The teaser of Maidaan is finally out. The film is about the Indian football team in 1952 when it had qualified for the olympics in Helsinki, Finland. Ajay Devgn plays the role of real life coach Syed Abdul Rahim. The movie portrays the golden era of football from 1952-1962.
Netflix’s hit show Bridgerton’s prequel Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story trailer released
If you’re a Bridgerton fan, you’d for sure know who Queen Charlotte is! We’ll finally get to see her back story and how she became the diamond of the season in her era, her love story with the Crown Prince. We also get to see the younger versions of Lady Violet Bridgerton and Lady Danbury. The Shondaland series will be available for streaming from May 4.
Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush's new poster along with the new release date is finally out
The makers of Adipurush dropped a new look of the film after it was immensely trolled previously. The poster shows Prabhas as Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Shesh and Devdatta Nage as Bajrang. The poster was released on the day of Ram Navami.
Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City trailer released
Asteroid City, which is Wes Anderson’s 11th feature film. The movie is set in a space cadet station in a fictional desert in 1955 when the idea of going to space was just blooming. The film features Maya Hawke, Scarlet Johansson, Margot Robbie, Steve Carell and Tom Hanks. The movie will be released in June this year.
White Lotus to be set in Thailand for season 3
After filming two aesthetically beautiful seasons in Hawaii and Italy respectively, White Lotus is set to move its base in its Thailand property. The makers have previously hinted that the new season will be set somewhere in Asia so Thailand seems perfect for a new premise for this dark comedy between the elite of the society.
Martin Scorsese’s upcoming film Killers of the Flower Moon starring Leonardo Di Caprio to release this October
Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon,” a historical drama about the serial targeting and murder of members of the oil-rich Osage tribe, will open in limited theaters starting October 6. The film will then have a wide release on October 20. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as the main character.
Jessica Chastain to helm a limited series for AppleTV+ called The Savant
The Savant is an eight-episode limited series based on a true story published by Cosmopolitan. The series is about an investigator whose job is to take down the country’s most violent men before they can carry out large-scale attacks. Jessica Chastain plays the main protagonist of the series.
Jeon Do-Yeon starrer action thriller film Kill Boksoon releases on Netflix today
Kill Boksoon is about a single mother Gil-Boksoon who is figuring out the correct way of parenting to her teenage daughter by the day and becomes a dangerous assassin by the night. The movie stars Jeon Do-Yeon who we had previously seen in Netflix’s popular K-drama Crash Course in Romance plays a completely different character in this one compared to what we’ve seen her play before.
Disney Pixar releases the trailer for their upcoming movie Elemental
Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental,” is an all-new original feature film that transports moviegoers to an extraordinary place called Element City, where a host of elements live and work. The trailer showcases each element—air, earth, water and fire—and what sets them apart according to Ember, a quick-witted and fiery woman who’s always stayed close to home in Firetown. In “Elemental,” she finally ventures out of her comfort zone to explore this spectacular world born from the imaginations of Pixar’s filmmakers and specifically crafted for the big-screen experience.
The Dior fashion show at Gateway of India brings the best faces of the fashion industry under one roof
One of the major highlights of this week was also the Dior fashion show that took place at Gateway of India. This is the first time that the luxury brand has done a full fledged fashion show here so it goes without saying that the B-towns most popular faces graced the event with their presence. Anushka Sharma and Virat Koli, Sonam Kapoor, Rekha, Masaba Gupta, Karisma Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Mira Kapoor, Athiya Shetty were some of the A list celebrities attending the show. There were also many famous international celebrities like Maisie Williams, Cara Delevigne and Karlie Kloss who came to Mumbai for the first time to attend the show!
