Hera Pheri 3 confirmed with it’s original star cast

The iconic comedy-drama Hera Pheri is all set to come back into our lives and make us laugh with it’s third chapter. The producer of the film, Firoz Nadiadwala confirmed in a recent interview that the movie will return with it’s original cast which means we will get to see everyone’s favorite comic trio, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty reunite once again.

Tabu and Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam sequel announced 

After 7 years, Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Shriya Saran will finally be seen together in the second installment of Drishyam. The actors took to their Instagram to share the poster of the film. The movie will be released on November 18 in cinemas.

Florence Pugh to be a part of East of Eden adaptation by Netflix

Florence Pugh has landed a role in Netflix’s upcoming adaptation of John Steinbeck’s East of Eden. East of Eden tells the story of a man who competes against his brother for the affection of his father. Tensions rise even further when he begins to fall for his brother’s wife. 

Amazon Prime Video announces Modern Love: Hyderabad

After Modern Love: Mumbai, the Hyderabad edition of the anthology is set to release on July 8. It will showcase 6 heart-warming stories and is directed by Nagesh Kuknoor, Venkatesh Maha, Uday Gurrala and Devika Bahudanam.

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film, Rakshabandhan’s trailer released.

Rakshabandhan is story about a brother’s love for his four sisters and how he’s weighed down by the pressures of dowry even in today’s time. The film has Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead. The film is helmed by Anand L Rai and produced by Zee Studios and Cape of Good Films. It will have a theatrical release on August 11.

Netflix’s The Old Guard 2 is now in production

Charlize Theron who stars in the upcoming Netflix sequel of The Old Guard took to her Instagram to share pictures from their set and announce the beginning of their shoot. The Old Guard 2 will be based on the second arc of the comic upon which the films are based, which was made by Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernandez. The film also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Harry Melling.

Deepika Padukone to make a cameo in Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan

Deepika Padukone will make a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara-starrer ‘Jawan’. According to reports, she’s going to make a short yet important appearance in the film. Filmmaker Atlee met the actress and even discussed the dynamics of her character as well as the shoot dates.

Shraddha Kapoor to star in Stree prequel movie

Shraddha Kapoor is set to reprise her role from ‘Stree’ for the film’s prequel, according to reports. The upcoming film will be directed by Marathi filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar who’s currently directing another horror-comedy titled ‘Kakuda’ featuring Sonakshi Sinha, Saqib Saleem, and Riteish Deshmukh.

Nick Jonas and Glen Powell to star in the comedy film, Foreign Relations

Actors Nick Jonas and Glen Powell are teaming up for a comedy film titled ‘Foreign Relations’. Directed by Kat Coiro, the film will be produced by Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman‘s Brownstone Productions. This is the second time that Nick and Glen will be seen together after they played best friends in season one of ‘Scream Queens’.

Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer ‘The Night Manager’ adaptation titled ‘Captain’

The Indian adaptation of the British mini-series ‘The Night Manager’, starring Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, has been titled ‘Captain’. While Aditya will take on the role played by Tom Hiddleston in the original series, Anil will portray the character which was played by Hugh Laurie. ‘Captain’ will also feature Sobhita Dhulipala, who’s expected to play Elizabeth Debicki’s role.

Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan to come together for Don 3

Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan will come together for ‘Don 3’. According to speculations, Ranveer Singh was also on the list to feature in the film, however, the makers went ahead with Amitabh and SRK as their cast. Recently, Amitabh shared a photo of him signing a poster of ‘Don’ with SRK.

Anurag Kashyap’s Dobaaraa to premiere at London Film Festival

Anurag Kashyap‘s new-age thriller ‘Dobaaraa’ starring Taapsee Pannu premiered at London Film Festival on June 23. Taapsee presented the film along with Anurag at the opening night gala of the festival. ‘Dobaaraa’, a Hindi-language adaptation of the Spanish mystery drama film ‘Mirage’, is scheduled to release in India on August 19.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 begins filming

The iconic romantic-comedy My Big Fat Greek Wedding is set for its third movie and is currently in Production in Athens. The film will now focus on Toula and Ian’s daughter’s wedding. Nia Vardalos will be playing the film’s lead Toula Portokalos and will be directing the film as well. She announced the start of their shoot by sharing a video on her Instagram.

Aditya Roy Kapur and Kriti Sanon could pair up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next film

After Gangubai Kathiawadi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s next film which is reportedly going to be a romantic-drama might bring together a never seen before on-screen pair. Aditya Roy Kapur and Kriti Sanon might become co-stars for the director’s upcoming film. The film is currently in its pre-production stages.
