Our E Round up is back with some very exciting highlights from the week, new trailers and more announcements to look forward to!

While India won big at the International Emmys this year and we’re super proud of the winners, our E Round up is here to also update you about all the other things you might’ve missed from this week. Last of Us star Pedro Pascal might soon be a part of the MCU with Fantastic Four. Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting Oscars 2024 for the fourth time. Blackpink became the first K-pop group to receive honors at Buckingham Palace. A documentary with BTS’ never seen before moments from the past 10 years is on the horizon soon. White Lotus season 3 is expected to be longer and better in its third chapter.

Blackpink receives MBE honors from King Charles III at the Buckingham Palace

King Charles III honored the K-pop band BLACKPINK on Wednesday for their work in raising awareness about climate change. Members Lisa, Jisoo and Jennie got honorary MBE, while Rose got a real MBE due to her New Zealand citizenship.

Pankaj Tripathi starrer Kadak Singh trailer released

Pankaj Tripathi’s next project which is a thriller drama will be streaming on ZEE5 from December 8. The film is directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and also stars Sanjana Sanghvi and Parvathy Tiruvothu. The story revolves around AK Srivastava played by Pankaj Tripathi, who hears different narratives about his past while battling with amnesia. 

Black Mirror is renewed for season 7 by Netflix

While not much is revealed about the new season in terms of the new cast members, the dystopian Netflix show ‘Black Mirror’ is definitely coming back with a season 7. Charlie Brooker, Annabel Jones and Jessica Rhodes will still be running the show as executive producers.

Han So-Hee and Park Seo-Joon starrer Gyeongseong Creature trailer released 

Netflix has finally dropped the trailer of thriller fantasy drama 'Gyeongseong Creature'. Featuring  Park Seo-joon, Han So-hee and Wi Ha-joon, the first part of the series is all set to release on Netflix on December 22. The story is set in the Spring of 1945 in Gyeongseong which was what Seoul was called during the Japanese rule over Korea. The story revolves around the characters in that world who have to face supernatural and monstrous creatures that are a result of human greed whilst also solving a murder mystery. The second part of the series will release on January 5.

Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting the 2024 Oscars ceremony

Jimmy Kimmel will return to host the 96th Academy Award ceremony in January 2024. The prime time talk show host has already hosted the ceremony thrice before. Whoopi Goldberg and Jack Lemon will also be co-emcing along with him and it’s the duo's fourth time as well!

A documentary on BTS’ 10 year journey will be coming on Disney+Hotstar in December

BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star - a documentary that reflects on the boy band’s 10 year journey will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar starting December 20. This documentary will feature many unseen moments and interviews from BTS members talking about pivotal moments in their career so far. 

Pedro Pascal is in talks to play Reed Richards in Fantastic Four

According to speculations, Pedro Pascal might be playing the role of Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic in Fantastic Four. Fantastic Four will be the newest and a much needed addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and we cannot wait to see Pedro playing the genius scientist who can bend and stretch his body the way he wants. 

White Lotus season 3 will be longer in duration, says creator Mike White

The third season of The White Lotus is set in Thailand this time around. While the filming was on a halt due to the SAG AFTRA strike, creator Mike White now looks forward to resuming filming earlier next year. In an interview, he said that the new season is expected to be longer in duration and bigger in production. So far only Natasha Rothwell who has been a part of the show since season 1, is expected to be seen in the third season as well.

Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse are expecting their first child

Suki Waterhouse announced her pregnancy on stage at her concert in Mexico earlier this week. Gesturing at her baby bump, she said on stage that she wanted to wear something that would distract everyone from other things going on in her life but it seems like that’s not going to be the case anymore. The couple started dating in 2018 and have made multiple appearances together at events this year. 

BTS members, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook initiate their process for enlistment in the military 

Last year in December, BTS member Jin was the first member who left for his mandatory military service. Since then J-hope enlisted earlier this year and Suga enlisted in September after finishing his solo world tour. As the year was coming to an end, it left BTS Armys wondering when the next four members will be enlisting as they need to regroup in 2025 and much to their shock, the remaining four will in fact be leaving together. This was announced earlier this week. Which means that all 7 members will be reuniting together on their 12th anniversary in June 2025.
