PM Narendra Modi holds a special meeting with the Kapoor family on Raj Kapoor’s 100th birthday
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday met the members of Kapoor family and held a candid conversation on the upcoming centenary celebrations of legendary filmmaker and actor Raj Kapoor. Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and others were in attendance. They shared pictures and videos of the same on social media.
Akshay Kumar teams up with Priyadarshan after 14 years for their next horror comedy ‘Bhoot Bangla’
After teaming up for a plethora of successful movies in the past, Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan are finally reuniting again for a new project. The film is called ‘Bhoot Bangla’, a horror-comedy that will release on the big screens on April 2, 2026. The film is being produced by Ekta Kapoor’s banner, Balaji Telefilms.
Two Indian films win accolades at Alternativa Film Festival in Yogyakarta, Indonesia
Two Indian films, Mikka Bannada Hakki(Bird of a Different Feather-Kannada) directed by Manohara K and Kottukkaali (The Adamant Girl-Tamil) directed by Vinothraj PS won Spotlight Award and Nativa Award, respectively at the Alternativa Film Project. The list of winners were announced at a ceremony held at the Gelanggang Inovasi dan Kreativitas UGM in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and hosted by actor and United Nations SDG Mover for Gender Equality Hannah Al Rashid. While Spotlight Award is conferred on films which highlight often overlooked social issues, Native Awards recognises works that delve into national or cultural identity, showcasing stories that put regions and communities on the global map.

Prime Video drops the teaser for Reacher season 3
Jack Reacher returns in 2025 with the third season of Reacher, which premieres on February 20, 2025. Based on the seventh booth in Lee Child’s global best-selling series, Persuader, the titular Reacher (played by Alan Ritchson) must rescue an undercover DEA informant from the clutches of a vast criminal enterprise. The rest of the Season 3 cast includes newcomers like Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart, and Olivier Richters.
Chris Evans and The Rock starrer ‘Red One’ trailer released
Directed by Jake Kasdan, 'Red One’ is a one of a kind Christmas movie. When a villain kidnaps Santa Claus from the North Pole, an E.L.F. (Extremely Large and Formidable) operative joins forces with the world's most accomplished tracker to find him and save Christmas. With Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson in the lead, the film will be streaming on Prime Video on December 12
Netflix drops the trailer for Yo Yo Honey Singh’s documentary ‘Yo Yo Honey Documentary Famous’
Yo Yo Honey Singh, who is one of the most famous rappers in our country, has a new documentary produced by Netflix coming out next week. The documentary portrays his rise to fame, disappearance, the struggles he faced and his comeback. The documentary will be out on Netflix on December 20.
