This week we have had quite a few highlights that you cannot miss out on! The week started with Vikrant Massey breaking the news about his acting hiatus which sure was something we did not expect. Netflix announced that they're releasing a docu-series on the Roshan family and we're intrigued to see what that has in store for us. Kareena Kapoor Khan stunned at the Red Sea Film Festival yesterday and we cannot get over her outfit. Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala are officially man and wife and their wedding pictures have been trending all over social media. Lastly, we also saw wonderwoman Gal Gadot in a darker avatar in the new live action trailer of Snow White.

Civic Studios and Vertigo Releasing set to bring 'Santosh' UK's official entry to the Oscars to the UK theatres in March 2025
Vertigo Releasing is partnering with Civic Studios on the UK release of the critically acclaimed and award-winning filmSantosh,releasing theatrically on the 21st March 2025. Santoshis written and directed by the BAFTA-nominated Sandhya Suri, and stars Shahana Goswami and Sunita Rajwar. Selected as the UK’s official entry for the Best International Feature Film category at the upcoming 97th Academy Awards, the film has received four BIFA Nominations including Best British Independent Film, Best Screenplay, Best Debut Screenwriter and Best Breakthrough Producer.
The film is produced by Good Chaos in association with Suitable Pictures (India) and in co-production with Haut Et Court (France) and Razor Film (Germany).Santoshmade its global premiere in Un Certain Regard at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, with official selection at Telluride Film Festival and Toronto Film Festival. The film was selected in debut competition at the London Film Festival and Tokyo FilmEx, winning Best First Feature at Jerusalem Film Festival, Best Screenplay at the Seville European Film Festival and was awarded the Golden Frog in the Directors' Debuts Competition at this year’s Camerimage.
Sanya Malhotra and Sunidhi Chauhan collaborate for the singer's new music video 'Aakh'
Sanya Malhotra and Sunidhi Chahan set the dance floor ablaze in Sunidhi's new music video. The song is called 'Aakh' and is produced by Warner Music India. You can see both the ladies twinning their outfits throughout the music video. The song is choreographed by Piyush Bhagat and Shazia Samji.
Kareena Kapoor Khan attends the Red Sea Film Festival's opening night in Saudi Arabia
Kareena Kapoor Khan shared pictures on her Instagram looking stunning in a purple Oscar De La Renta dress which she wore for the Red Sea Film Festival. The opening night also saw many other popular faces in attendance such as Aamir Khan, Vin Diesel, Emily Blunt amongst others.
The trailer for Shark Tank season 4 has been released. The new season is set to premiere exclusively on Sony LIV from January 6 and viewers can dive into the world of entrepreneurship and innovation. Vikrant Massey announces his break from acting
This week started with shocking news when Vikrant Massey, who recently gave his massive hit - 12th Fail, announced that he will taking a break from acting. He mentioned in his statement that he wants to focus on being a father and a husband and hence he will be back on-screen only when it seems right to him. Quite a lot of actors and other industry professionals commented on his post expressing how taken aback they are by this news.
Disney dropped the trailer for Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot starrer
Directed by Marc Webb, and co-written by Greta Gerwig, the live-action film has been adapted from Disney's 1937 animated classic. Gal Gadot is going to turn into the evil stepmother for this one! And Rachel Zegler is going to play the titular role. The film is set to release on March 21, 2025.

Prime Video announces premiere date of Girls Will Be Girls
An Indo-French joint production, this highly acclaimed and globally celebrated young adult drama has been produced under the banner of Pushing Buttons Studio, Dolce Vita Films and Crawling Angle Films by Richa Chadha, Claire Chassagne and Shuchi Talati with Ali Fazal as the executive producers. The film which takes the viewers on a rollercoater of dreams, aspirations, emotional conflicts is Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal's maiden production. The film will premiere on December 18.
Shahid Kapoor set to star in Homi Adajania's Cocktail 2
Homi Adajania's 2012 hit, 'Cocktail' is now getting a sequel which is going to be led by Shahid Kapoor. According to speculations, his protagonists might include Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan.
The trailer for Despatch is out and we see Manoj Bajpayee as a journalist investigate India's biggest GDR 2G scam. He plays the role of Joy Bag, who finds himself in the middle of a threatening investigation. The film is directed by Kanu Bahl and will be released on December 13.
Nana Patekar starrer Vanvaas trailer released
Nana Patekar is back on the big screen after a pretty long time. In Vanvaas, he plays an abandoned father who finds an ally in a con artist. The film is directed by Anil Sharma who has also directed Gadar 2. The film will release on the big screens on December 20.
