Farzi is a solid crime thriller that's created, produced and directed by Raj & DK with co-writers Sita Menon and Suman Kumar. With a cast filled with talented actors like Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, Chittaranjan Giri, Zakir Hussain, Jaswant Singh Dalal, Amol Palekar, Regina Cassandra and Kubbra Sait is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
When Sunny, an artist disillusioned by the income inequality in India finds it difficult to keep his grandfather's revolutionary printing press in business, he decides to team up with his best friend Firoz to make fake money. And while they're on a mission, they face challenges from Mansoor, a gangster, and Michael, a cop. To complicate matters further, Mansoor takes interest in Sunny's work and the story sets up to be a deadly game of cat and mouse.
Shahid's performance might not be the only thing keeping the Janta hooked. People are also praising Vijay Sethupathi's performance and the Janta thinks they make a great crime thriller pair.
