Four More Shots Please

From sparkly sequins jumpsuit to elegant saree, these leading ladies from Amazon Prime Video's Four More Shots Please's Season 1 gave us major outfit goals. As the show's Season 2 will release soon, we thought of browsing through this desi Sex in the City's fashion game.

Web series are growing to become very popular in India, with a number of Indian shows upcoming up. Shows that talk about a number of interesting topics. One such show that has gained a special place among the web show lovers is Amazon Prime Video's Four More Shots Please. Directed by Anu Menon, this show talks about four unapologetic friends and how they tackle through love, live, their flaws and yet stick with each other. With an all-women cast, this show that may seem like an Indian version of Sex In The City has given feminism a new take by including strong male characters, unlike other shows that tend to show men weaker in a show related to feminism. It also highlights the flaws of the four protagonists and how they deal with it.

Though at some points, the show did lose the track and turned into a glamorous Bollywood movie, the show gave us some fashion inspiration worth making note of.

We cannot ignore the idea that all the characters in the show appear all decked up irrespective of the situation they are in. If they are partying, at a conference, sad, or waking up in the might of nowhere they are always ready to the T.

Before the second season drops, let's take a look at all the jaw-dropping fashion trends from Four More Shots Please:

In a conversation with a good old dear friend who didn’t like #FourMoreShotsPlease (which I found interesting) because he believes that feminism is all about uplifting the other women and not having sex with random men or drinking continuously in the nearest bar. My point is, just because the characters are having fun in the series doesn’t mean that they don’t have their own problems. Yes, this is different from the large part of India where a girl dies because of her gender. But the characters from the privileged class also face day to day challenges. I said that this is what the characters are doing in the series. They are also sharing their problems with each other, trying to give each other the hope that will help them survive the next Monday, drinking a few vodka shots/ having sex with random men/or with men they like. Why Indian audience can’t accept sex on their television screen? Or those lacy bras? or girls enjoying their beer on a ladies night. Why do we always complain about those girls who drink and dance? We all are directionless in our own world. It does take time to find something worth settling for. Does having fun make me less of a feminist? We can be from Kolkata, Kenya or Kansas, yet we all suffer in our own way. I believe feminism is all about sisterhood and liberation. We need to take a stand for our sisters when they are in a crisis. They can be from anywhere. <3 #feminism #feminist #feminineenergy #feminismus #women #womenempowerment #feminismo? #bloggerstyle #blogger #women #womenempowerment #womens #fourmoreshotsplease #fourmoreshots #womenhelpingwomen #womens #womenpower
