We’ve all imagined “what if” scenarios for our favorite characters, but Zorawar Singh brings his ideas to life with creativity and cinematic flair.

Have you ever watched a movie or read a book and caught yourself thinking, “If I were the writer, I’d totally give this character a twist”? This may be by changing the way they talk, putting them in a different setting, or even imagining them in a completely new genre altogether. We’ve all done it at some point, and often even shared them with our friends. For Zorawar Singh, though, that “what if” is the starting point of his creativity. He takes iconic fictional characters we think we know inside out and places them in the most unexpected scenarios. Be it imagining Daredevil making a GWRM video or rewriting Harry Potter as the lead of a sweeping classic romance, you are suddenly looking at these characters in a way you never thought you could. His reimaginings are playful yet thoughtful, out-of-the-box yet oddly believable, and they remind us just how much room there is to experiment with the stories we’ve grown up with.

Apart from embodying the character so convincingly, Zorawar’s videos carry a serious cinematic value. It goes beyond the performance and focuses on building an entire atmosphere around these characters. From the way he experiments with colours to the angles he chooses, every detail feels intentional and creative. The visual storytelling in his work deserves a separate conversation altogether.
