FRIENDS Reunion special episode On HBO Max is bringing back our favorite six on-screen friends Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer.
After years of rumors and anticipation finally, the dream of having our favorite six friends back is coming true. FRIENDS Reunion special episode is supposedly wrapped up with its shooting. There have been many roadblocks in production as the whole world is facing this Coronavirus pandemic. But apparently, the special episode has been shot even though the airing date is still not confirmed.
Earlier, the existing 236 episodes along with the new special episode were going to be released together on HBO Max. And the cast was supposed to gather for this special of HBO's to honor the iconic sitcom's 25th anniversary. But because of the pandemic, the shoot could not be possible with a live audience and hence it was delayed.
Now, to clear a very common confusion. the main cast will reunite, revisit the set, have surprises, and share behind-the-scenes footage. But they won't be portraying their original characters. They'll simply be appearing as themselves and talking about the show. Some photos from the new set of FRIENDS have already gone viral.
FRIENDS, one of the most popular sitcoms of all time, ran for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004. It chronicled the lives of six friends, their adventures, relationship, career struggles, and so on in a comedic way.
The original cast, Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), Matthew Perry (Chandler), and David Schwimmer (Ross) recently reunited at the original FRIENDS soundstage Stage 24, at the Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank to film the reunion.
When the reunion news was announced, the leads all shared the same photo and caption on Instagram "It's happening" and tagged each other.
