With the end of another week, we’re back with another E Round-up to give you insightful news about the entertainment industry. The detective trio from Only Murders in the Building just got cooler because their cast is now being joined by two powerhouses of talent, Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd. Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer The Night Manager is finally out. Akshay Kumar and Emraan Haashmi will be sharing screen space in their upcoming film Selfiee. And all you binge watchers out there, brace yourselves as Netflix just announced all the new content you can look forward to this year.

Akshay Kumar and Emraan Haashmi starrer Selfiee first look released

Selfiee is the remake of a Malayalam film Driving License. The makers have released a new poster of the film which highlights the theme of the film which is about a superstar and his super fan. The film is directed by Raj Mehta and will be out in the theatres on February 24.

Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer The Night Manager trailer released

Hotstar has released the trailer for The Night Manager which stars Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shobhitha Dhulipala. The Night Manager is the Indian remake of a British spy series of the same name starring Tom Hiddlestone, Hugh Laurie, Olivia Coleman and Elizabeth Debicki. The Indian version of the show will be released on February 17. 

Netflix releases its new and exciting content line up coming our way in 2023 along with their release dates

From Alia Bhatt and Gal Gadot starrer ‘Heart of Stone’ releasing on August 11 to Chris Hemsworth’s Extraction coming out on June 16, Netflix has a big line up of content set for us. Other big titles releasing are Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston starrer Murder Mystery 2 which will be out on March 31, David Fincher’s The Killer releasing November 10 and a new series starring Millie Bobby Brown called Damsel will be coming out on October 13. Chris Evans and Emily Blunt will also be seen together in Pain Killers this October and Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon will be out on December 22.

Spider Man 4 currently in the works and to begin shooting by the end of this year

According to a new report, Spider-Man 4 is expected to begin production at the end of 2023, with a budget of $200M. Reports also suggest the film will be released in 2025. Tom Holland indeed will be reviving his role as iconic superhero.

Netflix releases the trailer for drama series ‘Class’

Class is the Indian adaptation of Netflix’s popular Spanish show ‘Elite’. The series, directed by Ashim Ahluwalia, premieres on February 3. The coming-of-age drama, with a mystery at its centre, has an ensemble cast that stars Gurfateh Pirzada, Anjali Sivaraman, Ayesha Kanga, Chayan Chopra, Chintan Rachchh, Cwaayal Singh, Madhyama Segal, Moses Koul, Naina Bhan, Piyush Khati and Zeyn Shaw.

Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd join the cast of Only Murders in the Building season 3

Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd have joined the Season 3 cast of Only Murders in the Building. The cast includes Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez who are neighbours in the show who bond over a love of true crime podcasts and end up solving their own murder mysteries.⁠ Selena Gomez shared a picture on Instagram with the new cast members which also means that season 3 is currently in production. 

Rachel Brosnahan to star in limited series ‘Lois & Varga’ which is currently in development at Amazon

Rachel Brosnahan is going to lead a new limited series in the works at Amazon. The series is currently titled Lois & Varga and is based on a short story by Lisa Taddeo. Miriam Battye is adapting the story for the screen, with director Halina Reijn to helm the pilot.

Disney+Hotstar releases the trailer for The Mandalorian season 3

Almost two years after the finale of season 2 aired, Disney+ Hotstar is finally bringing to us the series that stars Grogu aka Baby Yoda. The story shows Pedro Pascal and Grogu traveling to a galaxy far far away and their adventures. The upcoming season will premiere on March 1 and the cast includes Brendan Wayne, Lateef Crowder, Giancarlo Esposito, Temuera Morrison, and newcomers Christopher Lloyd and Nick Nolte (in a voice-over role), with Jon Favreau returning as show runner.

Apple TV releases the first look of the third season of Ted Lasso

Apple announced that one of its biggest streaming series will return later this year. While we don’t have a specific date just yet, Apple says that season 3 of Ted Lasso will premiere on Apple TV Plus in the spring of 2023. We don’t know much about the new season yet, but Apple did release a new image that shows Jason Sudeikis’ Lasso and Nick Mohammed’s Nate facing off, now as rival coaches.

Michael Jackson biopic is in the works from Antoine Fuqua at Lionsgate

We will soon be seeing a biopic on Michael Jackson. Lionsgate and director Antoine Fuqua are taking on the musician’s life in a film titled ‘Michael’. According to Lionsgate, the film will address all aspects of Jackson’s life.

Nikolaj Coster Waldau and Jennifer Garner starrer The Last Thing He Told Me first look released

Jennifer Garner took to her Instagram to share pictures from her upcoming thriller ‘The Last Thing He Told Me’. The film is going to stream on Apple TV plus and will release on April 14. She stars alongside Game of Thrones fame Nicolaj Coster Waldau.
