Guilty Minds

Guilty Minds starring Shriya Pilgaonkar and Varun Mitra was released on Amazon Prime Video on April 22. Let’s find out what the janta thinks of the show!

Guilty Minds is an intriguing courtroom drama that focuses on one or more cases per episode whilst also dealing with politics within the law firm and interpersonal relationships between the lawyers. The show is created by Shefali Bhushan who also directed the 10-episode series along with Jayant Digambar Somalkar. The show is highly authentic and well-researched as Shefali Bhushan comes from a family of really well-acclaimed lawyers so having known that world all her life, she had a lot of first-hand knowledge to offer to the show. The legal drama stars two main leads, Shriya Pilgaonkar as Kashaf Quaze, a confident and principled lawyer who gives her all to every case she works on, and Varun Mitra as Deepak Rana, the lawyer who does not shy away from the controversial cases.

Sugandha Garg as Vandana Kathpalia and Namrata Sheth as Shubhangi Khanna are also given a good amount of screen time in the story as fellow law firm partners of the two protagonists respectively. The ensemble cast also includes Veteran actors such as Satish Kaushik and Kulbhushan Kharbanda who play pivotal roles in the show.

Kashaf partners with her college friend Vandana to always fight for what they truly believe in and creates an honest law firm that she is passionate about. Meanwhile their batchmate Deepak Rana is a partner in a top law firm in the city. He has a sharp mind and smoothly gets his work done even though he often deals with cases that are morally grey. The two always find themselves fighting for opposite sides of a case with their contrary beliefs but we also get to see chemistry sparking between them. Guilty Minds is mainly about how these two lawyers get entangled in professional and personal drama and are forced to deal with them in their own ways. Over the 10 episodes, the show also brings a lot of social issues into the spotlight.

Here's what the janta thinks about Guilty Minds!
